Like the body acting exercise, we were given several prompts but this time with one set character. Before picking a prompt, I went to the library to sketch out different facial expressions and actions of people around me using the set character that was given to us.

After doing this, I decided to pick the character being in a phone call, where the character escalates through different emotions such as happiness, shock, anger, to acceptance.
I struggled with this exercise the most as I feel as though the character was pretty stiff, no matter how many tries I did with it. I then realized it was because the head was in the same place for several emotions and that it was not positioned properly to the curve of the action.
After fixing the head and playing with the timing, I also realized that the character was going through too many different emotions in a short period of time where it went from positive to negative to neutral. I ended up omitting the positive part and went straight to where the character was shocked, angry and accepted its fate.
