A short stop-motion video we made as a group in the stop motion session with Cate. This was a session back in the beginning of term 1 when we were still starting animation, and this stop motion session actually aided in my understanding of frame-by-frame animation. It’s also interesting how the tempo of stop-motion animations seem different from the 24 or 25fps 2D animations that I usually see.
Stop-motion feels slower and stiffer in its own unique way, and playing with different camera angles really makes the stop-motion more appealing. Playing with different camera angles is something that I would like to bring in my future animations.
